Bwah! Okay, so I had a REALLY bad day yesterday. REALLY bad. Pete called me "bristly" which pretty much sums it up. But I had this FANTASTIC *somehow heard that as being said by The Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) in her brain, lol* dream last night. OMFG. I can't even explain.... BUT I'LL TRY.

So, it was like all my buddies from Evergen had banded together (in person) to make this new weyr, which was SOMEHOW... like... REAL but also not real. We had decided to run it as if we were the canon pern characters (I was somehow F'lar and was riding fucking MNEMENTH around) and all because we had heard that the movie was soon to be released (and by "movie" i mean some crazy-ass virutal-real-reality thing) It was AWESOME. I can't even... pfaw... can't even explain how awesome it was. We had this crazy card-reader machine to let people in and register their characters and... jebus. I also got to be Saya and ride Mayu around, which was badass. I can't remember the weyr's name... it started with a C.... and there were Us or As involved somehow... but THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT. It was a gorgeous place with a huge freaking waterfall... and now that I think of it, it would not have been canon because there were wood structures involved, but it was awesome nonetheless.... AND THERE WERE REAL FIRELIZARDS! LIKE... SOMEBODY had GENETICALLY ENGINEERED freaking FIRELIZARDS for us. I had an ADORABLE blue one, they were soft like freaking velvet and absolutely awesome.

Gaw. *brick'd* Hopefully I have a better day today.

Short update:
Car still acting up, no job, drowning in commissions, trying to FIND a job, barely enough money to cover car insurance, not enough money for school, feel like shit about my art and where the hell I plan on GOING with my career, worried about school/how I'm going to be GETTING there, want to get rid of the piece of shit scirocco and buy a better car, really starting to regret some of the crap I've wasted money on in the past.

Really not feeling to great at the moment. Bare with me, I'm doing my best to get work done.

Yeah. My car decided to eat not one, but TWO of the three belts in the engine. So I had to get a fancy water pump pully (because the old one shifted which is why the belts got eated) and now I need to get two new belts. So. To fund this, I'm throwing up MORE commissions onto my plate... *grunt* and I will get started on them as soon as I finish putting the red ornaments on the Christmas tree downstairs.

So, I'm going to take money off of commissions depending on how much they cost. So, like, it'll be between $5 and $20 reductions. I am feeling generous so if you want to make a deal (like, get a bunch and get MORE off) or something that's fine. Just let me know.

It would be great to get payment via PAYPAL this time, as it is the most expedient method... Just let me know. I'm really digging myself into a hole, but whatevs!

Holy. Balls. That was probably one of the best movies I have ever seen. Ever. Fuck people who think it sucks because of its unoriginal premise for a plot. It was probably one of the BEST renditions of "man falls in love with alien woman and her culture and switches sides for what is right" I have EVER EVER EVER EVER SEEN. And not only that, but the CG WAS GODLY. Holy CRAP. The creatures were so realistic and fantastically made that they were EXTREMELY believable. The flying creatures in particular had me drooling, they were so anatomically feasible and awesome that I was squeaing with delight. I will give Cameron credit, he really did a great job on this.

For those of you near southeastern Pennsylvania, I'm getting the word out for a friend of mine at PCA&D! His name is Adam, and he and a friend have their own blossoming art and fashion design label, Brain Fuck Designs. 8D They have a blog for their label and they tend to cater toward those with more, as they put in their bio "eclectic, alternative, and... esoteric taste." Trust me, it's not really my thing, but this guy's art is stunning and if you like punking and rocking around, I'm sure you'd get a kick out of his stuff.

They don't yet have any examples of work, but if you check out their blog you can find out that they're going to be holding a table at the Philadelphia Punk Rock Flea Market where they'll be selling lots of awesome stuff. Not only THAT, but he says if they make enough in the way of profits, they'll be donating to the AIDs Foundation! So, if you live near Philly I would highly recommend heading over there! Plus, Adam is just a great guy, so yeah.
