This was something I started at school to be donated, as part of my Service Learning time with my art teacher. After it was done, however, I've decided I want to keep it and do something else for the school. Pleh.
Acrylics on 16x20" canvas board, approx. 12 hours.
I'm with ~DargonXKS, I'd keep a great piece like this too. Great job on the detailing here. The scales are all so awesome looking. Each one actually looks like a scale rather than a texture or just a random highlight. I'm totally diggin' what you've done on the tail scales especially.
Wonderful choice of perspective I might add. Not too often I see dragons portrayed from behind.
Great painting! From what I can see of the picture, the light and reflections look really good, and I can't see enough of the colour to say anything about it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
