AUGH! AUGHAUGHAUGH! Okay. If anyone is remotely interested in the reason behind my sparseness of late... well... THIS IS IT. HRMPH.
I ADORED working on this commission. And LOVE how it turned out. 'Tis for someone who is not on deviantART (that I know) of their two totally AWESOME characters, the brown dragon Yoseth and his rider D'zan. Awh man. So much fun painting this. And so much time. I can't even fathom how much I worked on this and... *dies* So, the premise I chose, because I was given a very WIDE one to work with (pretty much "paint this of D'zan and his brown") was of this loverly Weyrlingmaster pair doing their duty as Wingsecond during a Fall. Technically, this Fall wouldn't be too much of a hassle because of the thick thick cloud-cover (t'would drown the Thread, yis) but I found that the dark and light contrast really set the image off. I really hope everyone enjoys this. This is what I've been working on for well over a month. Done in PS CS3. Detail shots HERE! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
