Gorath the Flame by KaiserFlames Gorath the Flame by KaiserFlames
Mmmm. I finished the newest Redwall book, Eulalia!, some time ago. During school today I got up the muse to draw one of the young badgers from it, Gorath, with his trusty pitchfork/vermin skewer, Tung.

Boredom spawns lovely things. :3

.5 mm mechanical pencil on printer paper.

As others have said, his clothes are *awesome*! Your pencil work is so lovely. And who doesn't love Gorath? (that's read Eulalia!, anyway...) Looks like you got him in one here.
Very nice picture!

Good book, but not the best in the series. I think Taggerung is my fav. AWSOME artwork though!!

Hoho, strong feller! That right arm is gorgeous - a little stiff-looking perhaps, but wonderfully rendered. In fact, all four paws are wonderfully knobby and solid, just as a badger's should be.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to check Eulalia! out yet... eventually I'll figure out a way to do it, heh. I hope it's better than High Rhulain, which I enjoyed mostly because it was ottery.

xD It was good, quite good. Not the best of the stories, but still awesome. And I love the otters, so High Rhulain was shweet, in my opinion.

Can I..just...say one thing though?
I don't think badgers have long fox-like tails :/
Great pic anyway ^^

Awesome. I've always loved those books. Brisn Jaques is one of my favorite all time authors even though the Redwall series may seem like a kids book. I have yet to read that one though. There are quite a few I have on my reading list. XD

Fantastic piece btw. The shading is amazing and I love those paws. Very nice work.:D

Awesome!! I love Redwall, but I haven't gotten around to reading that book you mentioned this guy is from...School and other things take up my time to sit down and read the ones I have, I still haven't read through High Rhulian yet!

Nice job on the drawing.

Haha, man, you don't find too many Redwall people that often unless you catch them reading one of the books in a class, that's how I found out about Brian Jacques' books of Castways of the Flying Dutchman; there was a guy I found in my Driver's Ed class in H.S. reading that book and with that, I found out he liked Redwall and was reading the other side series.

Yeah, I only know of a few people in real life who read these books. My mom, my boyfriend's mom, my boyfriend, and this annoying jock guy in my physics class.

Wow...that is a small world. I even got the crazy idea of doing something related to Redwall, I'm a cosplayer as a hobby and just a crazy thought, I've thought of making up a fursuit of a Redwall book character, I'm between Constance and Sela; I know she was basically a villain helping Cluny but ended up losing her life at his paws, she just interests me because I just have a thing for foxes.

Yeah, I'd wanna be a badger, personally, though I think Cregga Rose Eyes would be more my thing. Big fighting badger lady. Rawr! x3 If you've not read the Long Patrol, then I highly suggest it.
