*clears throat* Now, let me get it out of the way right off the bat.

BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER BADGER MUSHROOM MUSHROOM.

Now that that's out of the way, let me continue. Basically, in a nutshell, I love badgers, I love anthros, I love sketching. Throw them all together and this is what you get. ;D

Twas done in mah sketchbook with a .5 mm mechanical pencil of the Zebra brand.

Enjoy!

PS. This is NOT a Redwall badger, nor was it ever meant to be. ;D

Interestingly enough, if Eurasian werebadgers follow the same behaviour patterns as their real-world counterparts, then those in Celtic lands would live in large family groups.

A werebadger would be invincible. The normal animal itself has thick, loose skin with bristly fur acting as armour, jaws powerful enough to crush a wristbone and a skull hard enough to withstand blows from heavy sticks and shotgun pellets.

I really love the power and majesty of this drawing. With all these pictures of badgers as comic relief, it is refreshing to see something evoking their darker side

Badgers are quite amazing. If they weren't so terrifying, I'd love to have one as a companion pet. They fit in so much better in the wilderness...lol

Hey, it is actually possible to tame them. See page 58 of this badger book: [link] They're intelligent enough to come when they're called, but become domineering over dogs and cats, and are very susceptible to obesity
