My brain is fried. Totally and utterly FRIED. I plan on finishing a daunting commission this weekend (probably most of the reason my brain is sizzling in its own juices) but I got this rather nice dragon design idea in my head.

This fine fellow, whom I've dubbed with the Gaelic name Carrick, is based on my wunnerful significant other as a kind of happy Valentines Day thing, seeing as I'm not sure he's really into that mushy lovey-dovey stuff I see everyone else doing. I plan on keeping him as a character of mine because I love his design.

Some details: Carrick's main coloring is a very very dark, almost black, forest green. The highlights on his main scales, his wing fringes, his claws and his fur are silver. He has a "simple" Celtic Weave type design crossing the highlighting on his wing sails in his base dark green color. His tail, which branches off into three prongs, is woven together all fancy-like. Carrick's eyes are bright green and lizard-like (though you can't see that from here).

I should have a ref. sheet up with far more detail for him once I've cleared out work that needs doing.
