Sooo I've been working on this guy on and off for about 4 days. I do believe he turned out rather well. n_n

I have dubbed him Ensis. Hes a weird hybrid gryphon with scales, feathers, and fur. A sort of draconic bird type thing. He's got an odd tail, as you can see, haha. The sail is for the main steering during flight. The base of the tail acts sort of like a cobras hood, flattening out and forcing the tail feathers to spread for use as a more precise flight rudder for minor adjustments. His hind legs are those of a big cat, however, are only partially covered by fur, the lower part being scaled. His feathers spread from the top of his head, down his back into a V pattern converging at the tail, and go from the beak down his chest in the same V pattern to the middle of his stomach. He's mostly dark blue, except for lighter blue highlighting feathers on his front legs, head, and tail, as well as having light blue scales... duh....
